The AURORA Business Hotel opened its doors to city guests in 2007. Among the first guests hosted by the hotel were Thomas Anders, Patricia Kaas, Bohdan Stupka and Josef Kobzon.

Holding the First Capital’s milestone events is inseparable from the AURORA Hotel. It is for the second time this year that the hotel has become a hospitable household for French movie shining lights Pier Richard and Mylene Demongeot, co-founders of the Kharkiv Lilac Short Film Festival, as well as for the French film legend Jean-Paul Belmondo.

In May 2011 the hotel was the venue for the Europe Days celebrations and hosted Polish delegation members from the cities of Warsaw and Poznan, as well as German experts.

From the first days of its operation our hotel has been especially popular with sports teams hosting participants of all Fed Cup World Group Play-Offs held in Kharkiv including such players as Alona and Kateryna Bondarenko, Samantha Jane Stosur, Francesca Schiavone. Also, there are many spectacular soccer events taking place in the city’s life, therefore the AURORA is a permanent host of football clubs like PSV Eindhoven (the Netherlands), Sampdoria (Italy), Rijeka (Croatia), Sturm Graz (Austria), Beşiktaş (Turkey), Dynamo, Shakhtar and Dnipro (Ukraine).

Since the AURORA has a very fortunate location close to the city’s central square and combines comfort and European level of service it has quickly become the favorite hotel of Kharkiv guests.
